In order to book a party, we require a $100 deposit to hold a specific date and time.

Cancellation:

In case of a cancellation - there is no refund available for deposits. However, the deposit can be applied to book an alternative party date.

1) In the event of a cancellation, we require a minimum of 7 days notice otherwise, the deposit is no longer applicable for future event bookings.

2) You must cancel at least 48 hours in advance; otherwise, full charges for the party will be charged to your credit card (or the equivalent deduction from gift certificates).

Open Workshops:

Vouchers purchased at a discount are subject to a $7 tax and administrative fee upon booking the workshop.

Illness:

In the event of sudden illness, if you are unable to provide us with 48 hours' notice (or 72 hours notice for groups of 3 or more), you will be charged $19 instead of the full workshop fee.

Cancellation:

In the event of a cancellation within 48 hours or more before the workshop date, you must alert us to the change at your earliest convenience. To secure your new preferred date, please email us at info@chocolatetales.ca. Re-bookings that occur in less than a 48-hour time frame are subject to a $19 re-booking fee.

Chocolate Tales reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a workshop due to insufficient registration or chocolatier scheduling constraints. Minimum registrant requirements vary. We strive to let clients know if a workshop has to be rescheduled or cancelled 24-48 hours in advance, however, this is not always possible. We will provide an extension of up to six months for any voucher or ticket purchase if we cancel a session.

To activate an expired voucher or a cancellation of less than 48-hour notice will be subject to a $19 charge for each voucher or ticket purchase.

We welcome all ages at our workshops, however, we recommend that children under the age of 12 attending the workshops are accompanied by an adult.

*Please note that to attend a class, you are required to present a ticket or voucher with a valid expiry date. The voucher/s must be valid upon booking.

Our senior management is dedicated to providing and maintaining a safe and healthy workshop environment in accordance with industry standards and in compliance with legislative requirements and will strive to eliminate any foreseeable hazards which may result in property damage, accidents, or personal injury/illness.
