How do I resize a widget?

Updated over 2 weeks ago

You can resize widgets in a few different ways—either by dragging their edges or using keyboard shortcuts for single or multiple selections.

Resizing with the Mouse

  1. Select the widget.

  2. Hover near the edge to reveal drag handles.

  3. Click and drag:

    • Left or right to resize horizontally

    • Up or down to resize vertically (where applicable)

    • Diagonally to resize diagonally - useful for images and embeds

Resizing with Keyboard Shortcuts

Select the widget(s), then press:

  • CMD + Shift + Left Arrow → Increase width

  • CMD + Shift + Right Arrow → Decrease width

  • CMD + Shift + Down Arrow → Increase height

  • CMD + Shift + Up Arrow → Decrease height

  • CMD + Shift + . → Increase width and height simultaneously/diagonally

  • CMD + Shift + , → Decrease width and height simultaneously/diagonally

On Windows, replace CMD with CTRL.

Not all widgets can be resized vertically and horizontally, so hovering your mouse near the edge will reveal the widgets resize capabilities. It is also important to note that not all widgets share the same min and max height stops.
