You need assurance that your jobs are covered - that employees show up, really show up, and don't clock in from their couches.

This is the number one issue we hear from the field. Owners and admins are frantic about losing customers. Chronotek has systems to ensure your jobs are covered. Let's review these management tools.

How to ensure your jobs are covered

1 - Smart GPS tracking can confirm if jobs are covered or not

You need to know three things:

  1. Are your employees clocking in at the job?

  2. Are your employees leaving the job while on the clock?

  3. Are your employees clocking out away from the job?

You don't need battery-draining "breadcrumb tracking" to see every point on the highway your employees take between jobs. And you don't have time to comb through hundreds of maps each week. Our proprietary GPS logic reports if your employees are located at the job or not when clocking in and out and possibly if they leave the job while on the clock.

Check out the article on ensuring you get the best GPS tracks from your employees' phones - because you won't get good tracks 100% of the time.

2 - Caller ID information can confirm if jobs are covered or not

Your employees can clock in/out by calling from job site landlines that prove they are on-site. You can ensure that employees call from client phones by blocking employee cell phones and linking client phones to job codes.

Calling from client phones is a solid approach to ensure that employees are on-site when clocking in and out, but of course, there's no guarantee that employees don't leave the job while on the clock.

We'll address that in a moment, but first, let's discuss another topic related to ensuring your jobs are covered - no-show alerts.

3 - No-show alerts confirm if jobs are covered or not

You don't want the dreaded phone call from your client saying that your employee didn't service their building. You can prevent this call by creating schedules and receiving email alerts when employees don't clock in by their scheduled times.

In other words, let us tell you when your employee doesn't show instead of your customer. You'll be able to get the job covered in plenty of time.

Manage with Total Confidence

GPS is an excellent tool to help manage remote employees, but as we mentioned, good tracks aren't guaranteed 100% of the time. Calling from client phones ensures employees are on the job when clocking in and out; however, what about the time in between? Do people leave the site while on the clock?

We have released a new platform, Chronotek Pro, that's more than timekeeping. It's a labor management system designed to give you complete control of your business and answer your most important questions -

  1. Are you making money?

  2. Will you make money?

  3. How do you make certain that employees clock in at the job site and stay there?

You'll know that employees are on-site with our exclusive new clock-in method called TimeTiles™, and combined with our propriety GPS location logic, you'll be notified if they leave while on the clock.

TimeTiles™ are available only on the new platform, Chronotek Pro. Please let us know if you're interested.
