Managing Schedules and Shifts (Delete, Reassign)

Need to make changes to schedules or shifts? Whether you've assigned the wrong team or need to modify future schedules, here's how to handle these common situations.

Deleting or Reassigning Future Schedules

  1. Navigate to either the Schedules or Time screens

  2. Select a future date to open the Time Card

  3. Click the arrow to open the shift

  4. Choose either Delete or Reassign from the Actions menu

  5. Follow the prompts to either:

    • Delete a single schedule

    • Delete all future schedules for this person's job

    • Reassign the schedule to another person

Deleting Shifts or Teams from Jobs

If you've assigned the wrong team to a job, you have several options:

  1. Go to Jobs > select the Job > select Schedules

  2. Find the shift and click the hamburger menu

  3. Select Delete Shift from the Actions menu

Important Notes:

  • To delete a shift, you must first delete any future schedules associated with it

  • If there are existing timecards on a shift, you'll need to deactivate the shift rather than delete it
