Removing Specific Captions in the Clip Editor
This guide helps you navigate the Opus Clip Editor to selectively remove captions from portions of a video, while keeping captions in other sections.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Access Your Opus Clip in the Clip Editor (if generated via Opus)
Log in to your Church.Tech account and navigate to the Clips section.
Choose the clip you want to edit and click on Edit Clip. This will open the clip in the editor.
Locate the Captioned Transcription
Inside the editor, you’ll see a transcription panel on the left, showing all the captioned words in your video.
Selective Caption Removal
To remove specific words from captions:
Click and drag to highlight the words you want to remove from the caption.
Once selected, click on the Remove Caption button. This action will remove only those words from the visible captions without affecting other sections.
Preview the Changes:
Place your cursor at the start of the edited section and press Play to confirm the changes. You should see captions start at the remaining text.
Advanced Option: Remove Captions and Video Together
If you want to remove both the caption and the video section for selected words:
Highlight the words in the transcription panel.
Choose the option to remove both the caption and video, ensuring the section does not appear in your final clip.
Save and Review
Once edits are complete, save your changes and review the clip to ensure that only the intended captions were removed.
