Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Access Your Opus Clip in the Clip Editor (if generated via Opus)

    • Log in to your Church.Tech account and navigate to the Clips section.

    • Choose the clip you want to edit and click on Edit Clip. This will open the clip in the editor.

  2. Locate the Captioned Transcription

    • Inside the editor, you’ll see a transcription panel on the left, showing all the captioned words in your video.

  3. Selective Caption Removal

    • To remove specific words from captions:

      • Click and drag to highlight the words you want to remove from the caption.

      • Once selected, click on the Remove Caption button. This action will remove only those words from the visible captions without affecting other sections.

    • Preview the Changes:

      • Place your cursor at the start of the edited section and press Play to confirm the changes. You should see captions start at the remaining text.

  4. Advanced Option: Remove Captions and Video Together

    • If you want to remove both the caption and the video section for selected words:

      • Highlight the words in the transcription panel.

      • Choose the option to remove both the caption and video, ensuring the section does not appear in your final clip.

  5. Save and Review

    • Once edits are complete, save your changes and review the clip to ensure that only the intended captions were removed.
