Welcome to Church.tech! In this guide, we'll show you how to ethically use AI to enhance your sermon writing process. Our platform is designed to assist you, not to replace your unique voice and perspective. We believe that AI should serve as a tool to help you be more creative, stay unstuck, and get further faster in your sermon preparation.
Using Church.tech to Begin Writing
First and foremost, it's important to understand that Church.tech will not write your sermon for you. We believe that having AI write a sermon is not an ethical use of the technology. Instead, our tools are designed to assist you in your writing process, acting like an assistant to help you enhance and refine your message.

Uploading Your Manuscript
Upload Options:
Click on "Upload a Manuscript" to begin. You can drop in an outline from a sermon you’ve been working on.
After uploading your manuscript, you can skip filling in additional details like the pastor's name or sermon name, and go straight to the Playground.
Using Voice Memos:
Another quick method is to record a voice memo of you discussing your sermon. This is especially useful if you are more auditory.
You can record yourself talking about the main text, key points, and themes, then upload the voice memo to the platform.
Getting Creative in the Playground
Accessing the Playground:
The Playground is the fastest way to start enhancing your sermon. Once your manuscript or voice memo is uploaded, head straight to this section.
Using Text Interface:
Use the text interface to input simple prompts that can help you generate powerful content.
For example, you can ask, "What's the main passage of this sermon, and how could that passage apply to life in America in 2024?"
Examples of Simple Prompts:
Identify the main passage and see how it relates to modern contexts like mental health, ethical living, or community relationships.
Ask how the sermon’s main text applies to non-believers, helping you craft messages that resonate with skeptical or seeking individuals in your audience.
