Will you develop Geometry or Pre Calculus Courses?

We've heard from many teachers of upper level high school courses who love what they see in Citizen Math who are wondering if the product will fit the course they teach.

The easiest way to check out the high school lessons is to head over to our Unit/Grade Tool and view the lesson in the Algebra 1 and Algebra 2 section. (We are not planning to add additional courses to the Citizen Math collection during the 2021-2022 school year.)

Geometry

While we do not offer Geometry as a specific course, we do have geometry-related lessons included across various courses and some high school geometry teachers enjoy incorporating these in rigorous ways, even though the target standard may be below grade level. If you are a geometry-only teacher, and you'd be interested in special package with just theses lessons, drop us a note at holler@citizenmath.com.

Probability & Statistics

Similarly, we do not offer a statistics course, but see our probability and statistics related lessons here. (You may want to favorite these lessons or save that filter search.)

Precalculus

And here's a filter for select advanced topics that may be helpful in a precalculus course.

We expect most teachers will use 1-2 lessons per unit or around 6-12 lessons per year. So it's certainly the case that you don't need a lesson for every single topic in a course to reap the benefits of Citizen Math. Instead, you might consider using Citizen Math to lay the foundation for important topics like functional relationships.

If you're looking for access to specific lessons on upper high school courses that were available on Mathalicious, check out this article.
