Receiving crypto takes just a few simple steps:
1. Go to the Crypto Wallets section.
2. Select the coin you want and click the “Receive” button.
In the receiving window, you will see:
QR Code - you can scan it with another device. When scanned, your unique address will automatically appear in the wallet from which the crypto is being sent. This eliminates the risk of errors when entering the address manually.
Your unique address - you can copy and paste it into the wallet or exchange from which the crypto is being sent.
Both options (scanning the QR or copying the address) serve the same purpose - ensuring the recipient address is entered correctly so the crypto is delivered to your CityPay wallet.
Once the transaction is successfully completed, your balance will be automatically updated, and you will receive a confirmation email.
⚠️ Always double-check the address and the selected network. If crypto is sent to the wrong address or network, it cannot be recovered
