In which cases can transactions be lost in a blockchain?

Updated over a month ago

Normally, blockchain transactions are secure and irreversible, but in some cases, funds can be lost or not delivered due to user or network errors.

A transaction may be lost if:

  1. Wrong wallet address was used

    • If crypto was sent to an incorrect or invalid address, it cannot be recovered - blockchain transactions cannot be reversed.

  2. Wrong network was selected

    • Sending crypto (for example, USDT) to an address that belongs to a different network (like sending TRC20 to ERC20) can cause permanent loss of funds.

How to prevent this:

  • Always double-check the wallet address and network type before sending.

  • If something goes wrong, contact CityPay.uz Support via chat at https://citypay.uz/ - provide details such as amount, currency, date, and sending address so our team can assist.

⚠️ Blockchain transactions are irreversible - once confirmed, they cannot be canceled or refunded. Please review all details carefully before sending.
