CitySpark’s Reverse Publish system is designed to export event data in a flexible format, allowing you to design and style the content however you’d like on your end. To get started, we’ll need to create a template for your account.
Please note: Reverse Publish does not support pulling event images into your template. Event images cannot be included in the exported content.
This feature can be used for both print and newsletters. You’re welcome to create your own template, but we’re also happy to help you create one. Simply send an example of what you’d like your newsletter to look like to jana@cityspark.com.
If you’d like to create your own template, go to admin.cityspark.com:
Select Events.
Select External Publishing.
Select Reverse Publish.
Select Create New Template.
Use the Layout and Format Design section to create your newsletter. Scroll through the screenshots below to see examples of templates that have been created for newsletters.
Note: AI can be a helpful tool for writing the HTML needed to format and style your template.
