Using your real email address helps to ensure you receive messages from ckbk

If you initially chose Hide my email when signing in with Apple, your ckbk account email address will look like this. <code>@privaterelay.appleid.com

There are certain disadvantages to this:

  • When you contact ckbk, it may be difficult for us to identify which is your account.

  • You may not receive emails relevant to your ckbk membership if they come from ckbk partners such as Paddle, as Apple limits who can send to these anonymous email addresses.

  • Your anonymouse AppleID email may forward to an email address which you do not check regularly (but note that you can easily change which email address it forwards to by following the instructions here).

If you would like to switch your login to use your regular email address, here is how to do so:

On your IOS device/iPhone

  1. Open the Settings app and click on your Apple ID profile

  2. Select Password and security

  3. Select Apple ID logins

  4. Select ckbk

  5. Select Stop using Apple ID

  6. Log out of ckbk and log back in again using Apple ID

Or on the web

  1. Select Security

  2. Select Manage. You'll find this under Apps and Websites using Apple ID

  3. Select ckbk

  4. Select Stop using Apple ID

  5. Log out of ckbk and log back in again using Apple ID

Troubleshooting

If your regular email address already exists as separate ckbk account, you may get an Access Denied error message when trying to switch to using it with your AppleID account. If that is the case, just contact us, and we will straighten things out.
