Why should you use labels?

You can use labels in many ways:

  • Set status or prioritize, perfect for project management

  • Organize content, for knowledge sharing across the team

  • Assign videos to different teams, to structure your workplace in scaling organizations

Manage labels

Labels can be managed from the topic screen or from the claap screen by clicking on the Label icon on the right of the title of your claap or by pressing L on your keyboard.

Add a new label

From the claap tile or claap screen:

  1. Click on the Label icon (or on the existing label name if one label is already assigned to the claap) to open the label overlay.

  2. Type the name of the label to be created and type Enter or click on Create.

  3. The new label is automatically assigned to your claap.

To assign an existing label to a claap, click on the Label icon or press L and select one of the existing labels.

💡 When you create a new label, it becomes available for all the claaps in the topic.

Edit/Delete a label

  1. From the claap tile or claap screen, click on the Label icon or press L to open the label overlay.

  2. Hover on the Label name in the list.

  3. Click on the ••• button that appears on the right-hand side.

    1. To edit: type the new label name and Enter.

    2. To delete: click on Delete "Label name"

A few notes:

  1. Editing a label applies the changes for all the other claaps tagged with this same label in the topic.

Deleting a label is definitive and removes the label from all the other claaps tagged with this label in the topic.
