You can use Claap on your web browser or desktop computer. Here, we'll walk you through how to get the most out of Claap on each platform.

What is common to both platforms?

You can record your screen, voice, and face to create instantly shareable videos with ease. Keep your team, customers, and co-workers up to date by sharing updates, asking for feedback on your latest designs, or demo your latest release.

Chrome Extension

Start recording directly from your Chrome browser.

Why use the web app?

Record quickly and easily in Chrome with a two-click installation. Choose between camera-only, screen and camera, and screen-only capture modes. Learn more.

System requirements

  • Full support is only available in Chrome, Opera GX, and Chromium-based browser such as Brave, Sidekick, etc. More info here.

Current limitations

  • You cannot record your camera bubble when using an application other than Chrome.

  • You cannot record your camera bubble on PDF documents within Chrome.

  • When using headphones, you can only record the internal audio of a particular browser tab by recording with specific settings. Find out more here.

For this reason, we suggest having both the Chrome Extension and Desktop app installed.

Download the app

You can download the Claap Chrome extension on the Chrome Web Store. For more information about installing the Claap Chrome extension, click here.
