If a school is having trouble finding you via ‘Find New’, it might be due to your profile settings. Making sure your profile is visible to schools is easy, and there are a few steps you can take to ensure you can be found by new schools on ClassCover.
How to Check If Your Profile Is Visible
On Desktop:
Click your name at the top right of the screen.
Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
Navigate to View Settings.
Find the option ‘Profile viewable to every school’ and make sure the box is ticked if you want schools to be able to find and view your profile.
On the Mobile App:
Tap the menu icon (three lines) at the top of the screen.
Tap Account & Settings.
Then select Account Settings.
Navigate to Visibility.
Make sure the toggle is switched ON to allow schools to find you.
Adjust Search Distance
If schools still can’t find you, it may be because they haven’t expanded their search radius far enough. Schools can adjust the ‘Distance from School’ filter in their search settings to widen the area they’re searching in. This can help them find casual teachers who are slightly further away – including you.
Tip: You can also take the initiative and send a request to join a school’s list by using the Find New Schools feature.
Stand Out with a Complete Profile
