How to Navigate and Track Student Data

Student reports, performance tracking, and progress data

To access your students’ in-game performance data:

  1. Navigate to the Reports tab.

  2. Select the class for which you'd like to view performance data.

    1. At the top of the Report, you can easily track the number of words read and leadership decisions made by your class. You also have the option of printing or saving the report as a PDF.

  3. By default, the Skill Insights tab is selected. Select either ELA Skills or SEL Skills from the dropdown.

Skill Insights:

  1. With the Skill Insights tab selected, scroll the Report to view your class’s performance for the chosen skill type.

    1. Students are bucketed based on their performance on games aligned to specific skills. They are classified as Beginner, Progressing, Strong, or Not Attempted. Learn more about our scoring designations here.

  2. Assign games related to a specific skill by clicking the “Assign games related to this skill” button.

To access your gradebook:

View class performance by skill at a glance and zoom in on individual student performance using the Gradebook feature.

  1. Select the Skill Insights tab from within the Report.

  2. Select either ELA Skills or SEL Skills from the dropdown.

  3. Select “View Gradebook” at the right to view how your class is performing against all assessed SEL or ELA skills, depending on your selection.

  4. To view individual student work:

    1. Click on a student’s score to view their performance, including their answers to the in-game formative assessment.

    2. Click on a student’s name to view their comprehensive Individual Performance Report. Scroll the Report to see how the student is performing against each skill.

Game Performance:

View class performance by game and zoom in to class-level decision-making reports.

  1. Select the Game Performance tab from the Reports page to view in-game assessment scores for assigned games.

  2. Filter by Career World, ELA Skill, and/or SEL Skill and click the “Apply Report Filters” button.

  3. Click “View Performance” under the game title to view your class-level decision-making report.

    1. This report is centered on the key decision made in the game and the skill to which it is linked. You can see how your class did overall or scroll down to view individual students’ decisions, including their end-of-game reflection.
