Your CleanCloud hosted website comes with a complimentary domain (e.g., mylaundry.cleancloud.site). For a personalised touch, you can link your own domain (e.g. mydrycleaner.com).
🗒️ Pro Tip: If you already own a domain or plan to buy one, easily connect it to your CleanCloud website to remove the .cleancloud.site suffix, retaining full control while benefiting from CleanCloud hosting.
If you don't have a domain yet, purchase one through services like GoDaddy, Squarespace, or Namecheap, seamlessly integrating it with CleanCloud.
Note: Setting up your website hosting is unavailable during the free trial or without an active CleanCloud subscription.
Edit Your Domain DNS records
1. Log in to your domain service portal: Head over to the website where you manage your domain (like GoDaddy or Google Domains). You'll need your login credentials handy.
2. Navigate to DNS Settings: Look for a section called DNS Settings or something similar. This is where you'll make changes to your domain's configuration.
3. Add new record: Find an option to add a new record. It might be labeled differently depending on your domain service provider. Look for something like "Add Record" or "Add DNS Record".
4. Set up A Records: You'll be adding two A Records for your domain. These records help direct traffic to the right place. For both records, set the value to "188.93.149.83", which is the CleanCloud server's address.
First A Record: For the first A Record, leave the hostname as '@' or blank. This tells the DNS to point directly to your domain without any prefix.
Second A Record: For the second A Record, set the hostname as 'www'. This ensures that visitors who type 'www.yourdomain.com' also reach your CleanCloud hosted website.
✅ Once you've made these changes, it may take some time for them to propagate across the internet. This process can vary from a few minutes to a few hours depending on your domain provider. Once the changes have propagated, your domain will be successfully linked to CleanCloud.

Additional DNS Information
If you're currently in a trial period with your domain provider, please note that some providers may restrict users from making changes to DNS records during this time. If you find yourself unable to adjust your DNS settings, we recommend reaching out to your domain provider's customer service for assistance. It's important to resolve any restrictions directly with them, as we are unable to advise or interfere with individual domain accounts.
Once you've successfully resolved any limitations with your domain provider, you can proceed with linking your domain to CleanCloud as outlined in our instructions.
