Information to Send Students On Using Clinician Nexus

For school staff responsible for scheduling student rotations, it may be helpful to share with students:

  • Students should expect an email invitation to join Clinician Nexus from info@cliniciannexus.com. Clicking the hyperlinked text in the email will lead them to where to begin setting up their account.

  • Let students know when you plan to schedule rotations in Clinician Nexus. After you schedule the rotation, they will receive an automated email notification alerting them about the completed scheduling. Students often reach out if they are invited to Clinician Nexus, but can't locate their rotation immediately.

  • If your school uses email aliases, please let the students know which type of email address you will be entering into Clinician Nexus, as this will be the email address they will use to log in to their account. For example, some schools give their students two email addresses that lead to the same inbox: a letter/number combination: sdent1234@school.edu AND a first name/last name email address: Stew.Dent@school.edu.

Help Students Find Their Scheduled Rotation

After you schedule a student's rotation, the student will automatically be sent an email notification. They will then be able to view the rotation on their Clinician Nexus dashboard.

Students can find their scheduled rotation in the same way school staff finds and views scheduled rotations:

  • Log in to Clinician Nexus

  • Click Dashboard from the left menu

  • Click Rotation list from the submenu

If a student has a scheduled rotation but can't find it on their dashboard, please reach out to Clinician Nexus Customer Support by clicking the chat icon in the bottom right corner of your screen.
