Account Creation and Settings Management On Clinician Nexus

Create an Account

Sign up for Clinician Nexus here

Confirm Your Organizational Email Address:

After signing up, you will automatically be sent an email to confirm your email address. Open the email and click on the hyperlinked text to confirm your email address.

Note: If you receive an error message that your email address is already registered, this is likely because your school coordinator has created the account for you already.

Select Your Student Role and School:

Return to Clinician Nexus and select your student role, and click next.

Search for the school you attend, so an existing staff member can confirm you as a student. Once an existing staff member confirms you, you'll have access to rotation information. If the organization is not in the system, you will need to request to add your organization. Click next.

Select Your Student Settings:

Select your program, discipline, year of study and expected graduation date. Click finish.

Notification Settings

Clinician Nexus has a wide range of customizable notification settings. You can personalize what types of events, or interactions, you'd like to be notified about in your account and choose how you'd like to be notified: via email notification, alert notification when logged into Clinician Nexus, or both.

To edit notifications, review the instructions below:

  • Click the Account icon (profile picture) on the left navigation menu

  • From the sub-menu, click Notification Settings

  • Review the notification settings and select/deselect what information you'd like to be notified about, and how.

  • Once you've made changes, scroll to the top or bottom of the screen and click Save settings.
