How to activate Automated Care Messaging so you can start communicating with residents and their families.

Important: Cliniconex must have API access to your facilities’ data in order to function. If you have any questions regarding the API access, please contact your PointClickCare Sales or Customer Success Representative.

Activating Automated Care Messaging (ACM) is a two-step process.

  • The first step is for PointClickCare to enable the API and allow Cliniconex access to your data. This enables the ACM app to read and write relevant data to your EHR including resident contact information, communication logs and more (note this process can take up to 8 business days for PointClickCare to complete).

  • The second step is Cliniconex will notify you, the customer, via email as soon as PointClickCare has authorized Cliniconex access to your data and the URGENT web application is available to use (note this process can take up to 2 business days for Cliniconex to complete). When this process is complete, a “Welcome Email,” which includes instructions on how to log in and access the application, user guides and final instructions required for setup, are sent to the primary contact.
