Matching Event Names

Since Routine Engagement sends reminders and notifications based on events inside a Residents' Event Calendar, the naming and description of these events are very important. Please contact PointClickCare and request to enable Routine Event.

Note: Cliniconex will need to set up these events for your organization. Please schedule your implementation meeting to review your requirements before configuration is complete.

To start using Routine Engagement with our pre-existing templates, please ensure that the following event types have been added to the Resident Event Calendar:

  • Initial

  • Quarterly

  • Annual

  • External

  • Reminder

  • Message

Note: These Event Names are case sensitive, and must be entered under both "Name of Event" and "Event Description" in order for Cliniconex to recognize these event types, and for them to display this way in the Resident Event Calendar.

Creating New Calendar Events

Follow these steps to create a new Event in the Resident Event Calendar:

  1. Under the Clinical Tab --> Other--> Setup

  2. Under General Configuration --> Event Calendar Configuration

  3. Select Event Types (If you already have Event Types, they will be listed here)

  4. Select New

  5. Add the name of the event (exactly as listed above)

  6. Add a description of the event (exactly as listed above)

  7. Save

Note: If you would like to use Cliniconex's Routine Event feature to send reminders or notifications for events other than those listed above, please notify Cliniconex via email to newimplementations@cliniconex.com.
