Welcome to the ACM Template Library! Here you will find templated messages for both resident families and staff on subjects from COVID-19, medical outbreaks, policy changes, events, severe weather, emergency situations, and more

Here are a few things to know about the template content before getting started:

  • Anything in bracketed [ALL CAPS] indicates text that needs to be manually replaced by the person sending the message

  • Any unbracketed words in ALLCAPS indicate a dynamic tag that ACM will automatically populate

Importing Templates To Your Organization

While we have written a variety of templates for you to import, we recognize you may not want or need every template. Get started with ACM by importing only the templates you want for your Organization! You can add or remove templates at any time.

You can import some or all the default templates into your organization or facility’s library with ease. Simply:

  • Click the orange Template Library button in the bottom right-hand corner

  • All the default templates will appear. They are grouped under their Template Category for easy navigation and organization

  • By default, no templates are selected. Simply click the box to the left of the template you wish to select. OR click the box next to the Template Category to select/deselect all templates in that category.

  • Click on the “i” icon to the right of a template to preview the contents

  • Click Import

Creating And Managing Template Categories

A Template Category allows you to group templates together for easier access. We suggest grouping templates by use case.

To create a new Template Category:

  • Click on the orange Create Category folder icon in the bottom right corner

  • A pop-up will appear. Type the new Template Category name you wish to use

  • Click Create

To add an existing template to a Template Category:

  • Click on the three vertical dots on the far-right-hand side of a template

  • Click on Set Category

  • A Categorize Template pop-up will appear. Click the dropdown list and choose the Template Category you want the template to be grouped under. Click Apply

  • Repeat for all the templates you want to group in this Category

  • Your home screen will now display the Template Category. The number in brackets next to the Template Category name corresponds to the number of templates within the category

To remove a template from a Template Category:

  • Click on the three vertical dots on the far-right-hand side of a template

  • Click on Set Category

  • A Categorize Template pop-up will appear. Click the dropdown list and choose NONE. This will uncategorize the template and return it to the main template list

  • You can also move the template to a new Template Category using the same steps and choose the desired Category from the drop-down menu

To delete or rename a Template Category:

You can rename and/or delete Template Categories you have created for your Organization. Any Template Categories imported from our Template Library are static and cannot be changed or removed.

  • Click on the three vertical dots on the far-right-hand side of a template

  • Click on Delete Category to delete the category and all the templates within

  • Click on Rename Category to rename the category

NOTE: Default access to import templates and to manage Template Categories is set to Organization Admins. You can change permission levels in User Management. We suggest providing Facility Admins access so they can create and manage Template Categories specific to their facility.
