There are many reasons a user may want to add an attachment to a message, including:

  • Sending newsletters to a subscriber base.

  • Attaching forms for intake, discharge and care plans.

  • Providing educational material or instructional videos on patient care.

  • Sharing welcome packages with new residents and families.

For messages where the same attachment will be sent each time (i.e. a welcome message) the template or message must be saved with the attachment for repeated use.

There is no limit to the number of attachments a user can send, however, the maximum size of a file is 10MB. Consider a format that is most widely used to ensure recipients can view the content, such as a PDF.

To add an attachment to a message simply:

  • Open a template or create a new message

  • Click the πŸ“Ž attachments bar

  • Select the file(s) you wish to upload

  • A pop-up will confirm the attachments have been added to the message

Note: Messages with an attachment can be sent via email only. When an attachment is added to a message, it will be changed to email by default.

Note: Valid file formats include: "gif", "jpeg", "jpg", "png", "raw", "csv", "doc", "docx", "pdf", "ppt", "pptx", "tsv", "txt", "wpd", "xls", "xlsx", "odt".
