There are many reasons a user may want to add an attachment to a message, including:
Sending newsletters to a subscriber base.
Attaching forms for intake, discharge and care plans.
Providing educational material or instructional videos on patient care.
Sharing welcome packages with new residents and families.
For messages where the same attachment will be sent each time (i.e. a welcome message) the template or message must be saved with the attachment for repeated use.
There is no limit to the number of attachments a user can send, however, the maximum size of a file is 10MB. Consider a format that is most widely used to ensure recipients can view the content, such as a PDF.
To add an attachment to a message simply:
Open a template or create a new message
Click the π attachments bar
Select the file(s) you wish to upload
A pop-up will confirm the attachments have been added to the message
Note: Messages with an attachment can be sent via email only. When an attachment is added to a message, it will be changed to email by default.
Note: Valid file formats include: "gif", "jpeg", "jpg", "png", "raw", "csv", "doc", "docx", "pdf", "ppt", "pptx", "tsv", "txt", "wpd", "xls", "xlsx", "odt".
