What Clockwork connects to

Supported accounting systems and spreadsheet imports, what read-only access means, and what to do if you're on a different system

What Clockwork connects to

Every integration below is included on every plan, with no integration fees.

Accounting systems

  • QuickBooks Online — connects in one click.

  • QuickBooks Desktop

  • Xero

Once connected, Clockwork reads your general ledger and keeps your forecast current automatically as your books change. There's no manual re-upload.

Spreadsheets

  • Excel and CSV import

  • Google Sheets

You don't need accounting software to use Clockwork. If your numbers live in a spreadsheet, the import path works on its own — select the Excel option during signup and we'll give you the template.

Read-only, always

Clockwork takes read-only access. It reads your financials to build forecasts and reports and never writes back to your books. It cannot change your accounting records, and it does not connect to your bank accounts.

Payroll

The headcount planner includes payroll integration, and is available from the Predict plan upwards.

If you're on a different system

Clockwork doesn't currently have a direct integration with other accounting or ERP systems — Sage Intacct, NetSuite, MYOB and similar. Two things worth knowing:

  • You can still run Clockwork today through the Excel, CSV or Google Sheets import.

  • Enterprise firm plans include custom API integration, so if you're at that scale it's worth a conversation.

Either way, tell us what you're running — book a time with our team or message us in the chat, and we'll tell you honestly whether Clockwork fits your setup.
