Text posts are for written content: newsletters, updates, blog articles, tips, and announcements. A post can be published to your site, sent as an email, or both.

Creating a text post

  1. Go to the Content tab and click the green Create button in the top right

  2. Select Text Post from the dropdown

  3. Write your post content using the editor

  4. Add tags to help organise your content

Adding to your post

As well as writing text, you can enrich your post with the following:

Paywalling content Add a paywall part-way through a post so free subscribers can read a preview before being prompted to upgrade. To add a paywall, type / on a new line in the editor and select Paywall. You can customise the heading text and the button label.

Custom button Insert a button that redirects subscribers to any link. Type / on a new line and select Custom button. To change the alignment, hover over the section and click the dotted rectangle on the left.

Content cards Embed a piece of your content, such as a recipe, video, or programme, directly inside a post. Press the + widget or type / and select Content card, then choose the content you want to feature.

Images Press the + widget or type / on a new line and select Image.

Publishing options

When you are ready to publish, click Next to access publishing settings. You can configure:

  • Where to post: Email and App, Email only, or App only

  • Who can access it: paid subscribers, tiered access, or everyone

  • Who to notify: via email and/or push notification

  • When to publish: immediately or at a scheduled date and time

  • Email subject line: the subject line subscribers see in their inbox

  • Meta title: the clickable headline that appears in search engine results

  • Meta description: a short summary shown under the meta title in search results
