Creating challenges to engage your subscribers

Challenges are time-limited participation events. Subscribers join, log progress, and aim to hit a completion goal within the challenge window. They are great for driving engagement and acquisition.

Tip: For structured content where subscribers should follow a specific sequence, use Programs instead.

Creating a challenge

  1. Go to the Content tab and select Challenges from the dropdown

  2. Click Create Challenge in the top right

  3. Configure the following: title, image, and description; start and end date; completion goal (the number of content completions needed to finish the challenge)

Tracking participation

Open any challenge and click the Participants tab to see:

  • How many people have joined and completed the challenge

  • Average progress across all participants

  • Individual participant progress, including when they joined and how far they have got

How subscribers participate

  • Videos and workouts β€” progress is logged when a subscriber clicks Complete after finishing the video

  • Recipes β€” subscribers tap I've made this and submit a short completion note

Promoting your challenge

  1. Go to the Design tab and select Pages

  2. Add a Challenge block to your homepage or any page

  3. Select which challenge to feature

Tip: Challenges are great for acquisition. Consider making one piece of content free so people can start the challenge before subscribing, especially if there is a prize involved.
