Interpreting Your Assessment Results: A Step-by-Step Guide

A guide to help users understand and interpret their assessment results on the CogniSense platform.

Updated over a week ago

Step 1: Navigate to the Dashboard

After you have completed your assessment, you will be redirected to 'Individual Metrics'. In here, you will be able to view your assessment results and progress.

Step 2: Review your Metrics

The 'Workforce Competency' will display your scores in each competency area. Scores are indicative of your level of knowledge and expertise in those areas.

Navigate through the checkbox options on the right to view and compare specific scores:

  • You can compare against Self Assessment, Industry Average and Corporate targets.

  • And include your improvement or the decline of your scores from your previous assessments.

The 'Assessment Criteria' displays the basis of your assessment namely your work environment, competencies and region.

Step 3: Identifying Areas for Development

CogniSense also highlights areas that you may need to develop further. These are areas where your competency scores are below the organizational target.

You can access materials and information that will assist in your development plan under the 'Development Resources' tab.

Step 4: Reviewing the Development Plan

Based on your results, CogniSense will provide a 'Development Plan' that you can edit as required. This plan outlines the steps and resources to help improve your competencies in the identified areas.

Step 5: Scheduling a Reassessment

Reassessments (~10 mins) are an important part of tracking your progress and demonstrating how your competency levels have improved over time. A reassessment date will be automatically scheduled for you in 3 month intervals.

Step 6: Seek Further Assistance

If you have trouble understanding your results or require further explanation, don't hesitate to reach out to your manager or the CogniSense support team. They can provide additional context and help you understand how to best use your results for your personal and professional development.
