EasySync (Mac) helps you to integrate your email signatures and campaign banners into the Outlook Mac for your desktop and keep them up to date. You can download EasySync (Mac) here.
EasySync (Mac) is a Mac application that is installed once on your employees' workstations. This can be done centrally by IT or independently by each employee.
Here you can download the latest version of EasySync (Mac) directly.
You can also follow the article "How to provide your Colleagues with their Signatures" in order to send your colleagues an automatic email which will give them a link to directions on how to install EasySync for their Outlook (Mac).
After the installation it is recognized which signatures are assigned to which user in Cognism Signatures. These are automatically created as Outlook (Mac) signatures. The system checks every hour whether the data is up to date. If necessary, EasySync automatically updates the employee's Outlook (Mac).
Via EasySync, the employee can synchronize his or her signature manually or update his or her personal data at any time (if permitted by the admin).
Automatic signature sync
The data connection between Cognism Signatures and EasySync (Mac) is active. EasySync stores the latest Cognism Signatures signatures in Outlook every hour. Deactivate this option so that no more signature updates are released.
Automatic software update
EasySync users will receive a desktop notification as soon as a new version of EasySync is available and can update the program by themselves. If this option is deactivated, employees are not notified and EasySync (Mac) versions can be distributed centrally by IT.

Sync settings
Not all your employees use Outlook Mac? No problem. You can activate or deactivate the two modules either for the entire company or for each employee individually.
EasySync - Outlook Mac
EasySync is active for Outlook (Mac) and stores the Cognism Signatures signatures as Outlook signatures of the employees. Deactivate this option to deactivate EasySync for Outlook (Mac).

EasySync Apple Mail
EasySync is active for Apple Mail and stores the Cognism Signatures signatures as mail signatures of the employees. Deactivate this option to deactivate EasySync for Apple Mail.

Roll out EasySync centrally
Cognism Signatures EasySync can be installed by the system administrator on all desired workstations.
When rolling out the client, please make sure that EasySync is added as an operating aid for the workstations.
Please keep in mind that employees can be informed about new EasySync updates via desktop notification. If you want your employees to be able to update EasySync independently later, please assign the appropriate rights when distributing the software.
Please note that EasySync updates appear regularly and that you should have the latest version of the program installed at all times.

Update EasySync
We are constantly developing our EasySync client further and provide updates at regular intervals. The latest version of Cognism Signatures EasySync can be downloaded here at any time.
If the Cognism Signatures administrator has not deactivated the "Automatic Software Update", EasySync users receive a desktop notification as soon as a new version of EasySync is available and can update the program independently (if EasySync has been distributed centrally, the corresponding rights must have been granted). If this option is deactivated, employees will not be notified and EasySync (Mac) versions can be distributed by the system administrator.
Add EasySync as operating aid
We recommend that you add Cognism Signatures EasySync as an operating aid for all workstations. Some functions of the program, such as the use of standard signatures, are only active then.
If EasySync is to be distributed centrally by IT, IT can make this setting centrally. Please do not hesitate to contact us for details.
Otherwise, you can add EasySync directly during the installation as an operating aid, or at any time afterwards as follows (before the update from macOS Mojave):

Adding Access Rights for EasySync
(Only for users of Outlook Mac in combination with G Suite, Mac operating system Mojave or higher)
With macOS Mojave Apple introduces a few new privacy features. The new features are useful, but make it necessary for EasySync users to activate the new rights for Cognism Signatures.
You can activate the corresponding rights for EasySync directly during installation or later. This is how it works:
First step: Grant hard disk access
Open the preferences of your Mac and select "Security".
Navigate to the tab "Privacy".
Navigate to the tab "Full access to hard disk".
Unlock the lock
Click on "+".
Add "Cognism Signatures" to the list
Second step: Granting automation
7. navigate to the "Automation" tab
8. activate "System Events" and "Mail"
