Introduction
The Swipe Game Activity Template is a fun way to elevate your multiple choice questions. The template uses swipe gestures for answer selection and allows you to choose from different skins: Factory and Beach.
In this template you can use content blocks to create a variety of question types where users make quick decisions by swiping in different directions. This format is particularly effective for preference-based questions, yes/no scenarios, or rapid-fire decision-making exercises.
How to use the template
Set up your activity
Navigate to the Content tab and select the Subject that you wish to add the activity to. If you need to create a new Subject for this activity, simply click on Create new subject.
In the Subject, click Create new activity. In the Activity modal, update the name of your Activity (remember, this is the name displayed in your app).
Click on the Template dropdown and select Swipe game.
Choose the desired skin in the Template Variant.
Scroll down and click Save Changes.
Add your content
Navigate to the Topic by clicking on Edit content on the Activities page of your Subject, or Edit Topic in the Activity page, or via the Topic tab.
Once you've opened the Topic click Create new content block.
In the modal give your content block a Data Label, this is an internal identifier.
Click on the Type dropdown and select the appropriate content type for your swipe question.
Add your question, statement, or content in the User facing label field. This is what will appear as the swipeable element in your activity.
Configure your swipe options:
Set up the left swipe action and label
Set up the right swipe action and label
Add any additional content like images or text that should appear with the swipeable item
Click Save Changes.
If you wish to add multiple questions in your activity, you can repeat the above steps.
⚠️ Important
Creating page views is not required for the Swipe Game Activity Template.
