Making bookings with 'Website_View' Content Type

If you want to give your users the ability to book private meetings, classes, appointments, webinars, register for in-person/online events, etc. then using the ‘Website View’ content type is a seamless way to achieve this.

To do this, simply integrate a booking scheduling tool such as Calendly or Zoom. Once you've created the appropriate events, you can go to the event page directly in your Cogniss app by using the 'Website_View' content type.

How to do it:

To use it, simply:

  1. Create a new content block by clicking the 'Create new content block' button

  2. Assign a data label to the content block

  3. Choose ‘Website View’ as the type

  4. Upload the URL of the meeting scheduler (booking/availability link) you'd like displayed

  5. Save your changes

This will enable your users to view all available dates/times directly in your Cogniss app without having to be redirected to an external browser.

Note: Cogniss is unable to pass data back and forth between external websites without setting up a custom API (please get in touch if you'd like to do this).

If you want to send your users reminder emails about their bookings or links to join a video call etc. Please configure this through the web app used to create the booking page.
