About the Badges widget

Badges are a type of Virtual Good that you can create to reward your users for engaging with your app. They are a great way of gamifying your app by encouraging users to complete activities and tasks to achieve a reward.

By adding the Badges widget to the Dashboard, your users will be able to see the badges they have earned.

How to add the Badges widget

In Cogniss Creator, navigate to the Dashboard tab. To add a dashboard widget, click on Add new widget and the Dashboard widgets wizard will open.

Select Badges from the widget library and close the wizard. Your Badges widget will now appear in the Dashboard tab.

The default label for the widget is Badges but if you would like to customize this you can update the Widget label to something more relevant to your app, such as 'Achievements'.

Once you've updated your widget, navigate to Layout. In this wizard you can configure the layout of the widgets on your app's home screen. Once you've completed this, close the wizard by clicking Done. When you're back on the Dashboard tab, click Save.

How Badges are displayed in your app

Once you've added the widget to your Dashboard, your app users will be able to view the badges they've earned in your app.
