Once you've reviewed your students' grades, you can send the feedback straight to Google Classroom, download it, or print it. Every option lets you choose what goes on the page and shows you a live preview before anything is shared.
Where to find it
Open your Assignment Dashboard.
Click the blue Share feedback button at the top right of your submissions list. You can also click Share feedback while reviewing a student's feedback page.
Choose one of three options: Send to Google Classroom, Download or Print all.
If your class comes from Google Classroom, Send to Google Classroom is marked Suggested.
Option 1: Send to Google Classroom
Feedback goes into each student's Google Doc in Google Classroom.
Step 1: Choose how comments are added
Add Google Docs comments (suggested): comments are linked to the exact parts of the student's work they refer to. The student's original document stays available in version history.
List comments at the top: numbered comments are added above the student's work as a single text block.
Step 2: Choose the student name format, for example First Last (Maria Garcia).
Step 3: Choose what goes on the page (see Choosing what students see below).
Step 4: Check the Preview on the right, then click Share feedback.
What students see: the feedback appears in the student's Google Doc, with their original work below it.
Option 2: Download
Download the feedback to share by email, print, upload to another platform or keep for your records.
Step 1: Choose a download format
PDF (suggested): best for printing and sharing.
DOCX: editable Word files, best if you want to make changes before sharing.
Spreadsheet (CSV): names, scores and feedback in one file that opens in Excel or Google Sheets. Useful for your gradebook.
Step 2: Choose what goes on the page (see below).
Step 3: Check the Preview, then click Share feedback.

Option 3: Print all
Opens all feedback in a print-friendly layout, with each student's feedback on its own page. Best for in-person classes and portfolios.
Choosing what students see
Under Page content, tick or untick each item. The preview updates as you go.
Header: Total score and Revision number. Untick Revision number if you don't want students to see which revision they're on.
Overview: the Summary and the sections from your feedback style (for example Glow, Grow and Think about it).
Rubric: Rubric scores and Rubric feedback for each criterion.
Grammar: grammar feedback. The grammar section groups issues into categories so students can spot patterns in their writing.
Use the A- and A+ buttons above the preview to make the text smaller or larger.

Choosing which students receive feedback
Pick the students you want to share with. If some students can't receive feedback yet, CoGrader shows you which ones and why.
Grades in Google Classroom
CoGrader does not post grades into the Google Classroom gradebook. It writes the feedback into each student's Google Doc. Enter the grade in Google Classroom yourself.
Good to know
Review each submission before you share it. CoGrader suggests grades and feedback, and you decide what reaches students.
After you share, the Exported column on your Assignment Dashboard shows YES for that student.
