Supported File Types & Integrations

CoGrader supports a wide range of file types and Learning Management Systems, providing educators with flexibility and convenience across platforms.

Supported File Types

Currently Supported File Types:

  1. DOCX (Microsoft Word documents)

  2. PDF

  3. HTML

  4. Google Docs
Seamlessly import student submissions via Google Classroom or Google Drive. This works especially well for teachers using Google Assignments LTI.

  5. Image Files (PNG and JPG)
CoGrader supports image grading for handwritten assignments only.

    • Images must contain student-written text (e.g., handwritten essays).

    • Visuals, diagrams, charts, or graphics are not supported.

    • Handwritten work must be uploaded as files (not via Google Classroom).

  6. ZIP Files
You can upload ZIP files containing multiple student submissions.

    • CoGrader allows you to select which files inside the ZIP to grade.

    • Supported files inside the ZIP will show as “Ready to Grade.”

    • Unsupported file types (e.g., CSVs or system files) are automatically flagged and skipped.

Supported LMS Integrations

CoGrader currently supports direct integration with the following Learning Management Systems:

  • Google Classroom

  • Canvas

  • Schoology

  • Brightspace

You can:

  • Import assignments and submissions directly from your LMS

  • Create new classes by importing from an LMS

  • Or create assignments manually if preferred
