CoGrader supports a wide range of file types to provide flexibility and convenience for educators using different platforms and formats. Below is a list of supported file formats and some exciting features coming soon.

Supported File Types:

1. DOCX (Microsoft Word Documents)

2. PDF

3. HTML

4. Google Docs

Seamlessly upload student submissions directly from Google Classroom or Google Drive, making it easy for teachers who use Google Assignments LTI in Canvas or Schoology.

5. Image Files (PNG and JPG)

CoGrader supports image grading for handwritten assignments only.

Note: As of September 2024, CoGrader only grades text. The image files should be screenshots or pictures of student-written work. It does not support visuals, diagrams, graphics, or any content that isn’t text-based. Handwritten work can only be graded through file uploads, not Google Classroom.

Upcoming Features:

Copy and Paste Student Work

Soon, you will be able to copy and paste student work directly into CoGrader, removing the need to upload files for quick feedback or single submissions.

Deeper LMS Integration

We are working on direct integration with popular Learning Management Systems (LMS) like Canvas, Schoology, Blackboard, and Moodle, allowing CoGrader to pull student submissions directly from the LMS without the need for file uploads.
