SmartSend: Send AI‑generated payment emails in seconds

SmartSend lets you quickly generate and send personalised emails in Collect using invoice and account data, with options to adjust tone and length before sending.

SmartSend helps you write and send personalised emails in seconds without leaving Collect.

Instead of drafting emails from scratch, SmartSend uses invoice details, payment history, and recent interactions to generate a tailored message.


Send a one-off email with SmartSend

Follow these steps to generate and send an email:

  1. Go to Accounts in Collect

  2. Open the account you want to contact

3. Click the History tab

4. Click Compose email in the top right

5. Enter a short instruction (for example: “Follow up on overdue invoices and request a payment date”)

6. Click Generate

SmartSend will create a draft using the account’s invoice details, payment history, and recent interactions

7. Refine the tone (optional)

After generating a draft, you can adjust the tone and length:

  • Make it shorter or longer

  • Make it firmer, more empathetic, or neutral

You can also choose to skip the next workflow reminder for the account.

8. Click Send email when ready

Use SmartSend when you need to:

  • Send a quick one-off reminder outside your workflow

  • Follow up on a specific invoice or interaction

  • Respond to a debtor with minimal effort

  • Adjust tone based on the situation
