Getting Started

When you first sign up for comarketing.com, you’ll see the Discover tab in your dashboard.

If you're in Earn Mode, this is where you'll find Discoverable promotions—aka opportunities for you to get paid by promoting businesses.

Unlike 1–1 invitations, you can browse these promotions yourself, review the details, and decide which ones you’d like to join.

Some are limited to location, others are available universally!

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open Discover → Use filters to search by industry or location.

  2. Preview a promotion → Click View Profile to see what you’d be promoting, payout terms, and any restrictions.

  3. Join in one click → Select Start Promotion (while viewing profile) when you’re ready to join.

  4. Track it all → Once joined, the promotion moves to your Promotions tab, where you’ll find your unique link, media (if provided), and results.

Understand what you're promoting

Before joining a promotion, take a moment to review what you’ll be promoting and how you’ll earn.

When you click View Details on any campaign in Discover, you’ll see two main sections:

  • Campaign Details — shows how the campaign works and what you’ll be paid for.

  • Business + Campaign Description — gives context about the business and what you’ll be promoting.

Below is what each section means. ⬇️

Campaign Details

This section breaks down the setup of the campaign — who’s running it, what’s being tracked, and how you’ll be paid.

  • User: The business running the campaign.

  • Tracking URL: (Optional) The website you’ll promote. Clicks to this page appear in your Promotions tab.

  • Conversion URLs: (Optional) The page(s) that count as a result—like a sale, lead, or appointment. These appear under Results in your Promotions tab.

  • Split Type: Who pays the Stripe + comarketing fees.

    • You Pay means the fees come out of your payout.

    • Partner Pays means you receive the full amount.

  • Price Per Result: How much you’ll earn for each result.

  • Campaign Type:

    • Conversion = you’re paid when someone takes a tracked action (clicks, sales, appointments).

    • Lead = you’re paid for referrals sent through comarketing.
⚠️ Lead campaigns don’t include tracking or conversion URLs. You’ll get paid when you submit leads to the business through your comarketing account.

  • Monthly Budget: The maximum the business will pay per month for your promotions.

Business and Campaign Description

This section tells you more about the business and what you’re promoting.

  • Description: Explains what you’ll earn for (e.g., “Earn $3 for each user that signs up through your link.”).

  • Bio: (Optional) A short overview of who they are and what they do.

  • Type of Services: Lists the products or services the business offers.

Reviewing both sections ensures you know what the campaign is about, who it’s for, and how your earnings are tracked.
