You have a few choices for assigning different pieces of work to different individuals or groups within your class.

Firstly you can create pupil groups within your class which will allow you to set bespoke assignments for specific pupils within a class, be it an individual, an identified group in need of intervention, or otherwise.

However, If you wanted to assign different objectives to different groups within your class that would require altering the setup of your classes and your teaching timetable.

First, you will need to create a class for each group you wish to assign a different lesson plan to. So for example, if you currently have a class called '8Ma1' you could split this into '8Ma1 - Group A' & '8Ma1 - Group B'.

This would require you to alter the name of your original class, then create a second class and name it accordingly in the Manage Classes page of School Settings.

Next, you will need to move your pupils into the appropriate new classes.

You can follow this article to show you exactly how to move your pupils between classes within the same academic year.

Finally, you will need to alter your timetable to include all of your newly created classes so you can begin selecting objectives and planning lessons for each! You do this in the Edit Academic Year Set Up page of School Settings.

As you are not currently able to schedule multiple classes in a single timetable block, we would recommend increasing the number of periods per day, under timetable layout, to create more space on your timetable for the new classes you have created.

When scheduling the lesson for your newly created classes in the Teacher Timetable section, we would recommend arranging your lessons one after the other so they appear next to each other.

Here is a support article for some extra help with making changes to your timetable.
