This guide shows the step-by-step process for signing in and signing out of the Live Access mobile app, including:
Sign In with Live Access
If you have not already downloaded the app, please view Downloading the Live Access App & follow the steps for logging in for the first time.
1. Open Live Access and select Sign in to Site.
Note: If you are signing in and have multiple profiles you will need to select the relevant profile. Learn how to navigate between the profiles with this guide.
2. The Sites assigned to you will show in a list. Select the Site you are signing in for.
If the Site or Project you are looking for is not available, please speak to your Company administrator as you will need to be assigned to the Site.
3. Select the Location you are signing in to.
Note: The first time you sign into a location, you will be required to confirm the privacy for this site.
4. If your profile is not compliant for the location you are signing into you can either contact support for confirmation of the requirements or Sign in Anyway.
5. You may need to complete a Site induction as part of the sign-in process. Site inductions are valid for 12 months.
6. There may be Hazards to confirm for the location you are signing into. Please review and select Acknowledge.
7. The location may also have a checklist. If you see this, please review and select Confirm. In some cases, you may also need to provide a signature here.
8. If Lone Worker is enabled for your location, you will be prompted to confirm if you are working alone. If you are working alone, you will be requested to put in the hours that you will be working. Refer to Live Access Advanced Features | Lone Worker for more information.
9. You may see Work Orders that have been assigned to you. Refer to Signing In to Work Order or Signing Out of Work Order for more information.
10. You may be requested to add the description of what activity you are working on. If so, refer to Activity Feature for more information.
11. If you are completing high-risk activities onsite and have Permits available, select the permit from the list and sign into the permit.
12. The client may allow Permits to be submitted at sign in. If so, follow Submitting Permits via the Live Access Mobile App.
Note: Some clients require permits to be submitted 72 hours before attending a site. Please contact your client for confirmation.
13. If needed, select Request a Key and follow the prompts.
Swap between profiles [Multiple Profiles]
If you work for multiple companies you may have more than one profile. These profiles are linked with your phone number and you can navigate between the profiles. Here are the steps:
1. Select the menu icon at the top left.
2. Select the three-dot option at the top right.
3. Select the profile you would like to sign in from.
4. Then, follow the steps above on signing in to a Site.
Sign Out of Live Access
1. To sign out, open the app.
2. Select Sign out of Site > Yes, log out on the Home Screen. Depending on the Site’s Local Compliance Profile settings, additional sign-out options may appear.
