This is common for merchant to sell uni-sex products such as T-shirts, pants e.t.c..

For the same t-shirts are marked as different size for women and mens, merchant can simply use grouping to manage the same t-shirt inventory(base inventory) for multiple products at the same time.

Women(S) = Men (XS)

Women(M) = Men (S)

Women(L) = Men (M)

and so on.....

How to set up

Smart Connected Group by SKU

Smart group will let the app automatically create these connected groups for you for each unique SKU number; and putting each product / variant with a matching SKU into a group.

1) First assign the same SKU to the product you want to connect. For example, we assign UNISEX-T-S to Men(S) and Women(M).

2) Go to Connected Inventory and ENABLE"Smart Connected Group by SKU".

3) The app will scan all your products and create groups if they are having the same SKU. It will usually take between 10-15 minutes for a full scan. You can close this page and come back later to see the groups that are automatically created.

4) Brew a coffee... Refresh the page.

5) Click Edit Group to check the products that are connected.

6) The setup is done! Go ahead to make an order to verify it.

Manual Inventory Group

Same concepts to group the multiple products share the same base inventory, manual group allows you to hand pick which product or variants to put into a connected group to share the same base inventory.
