This guide is intended for Okta admins who are configuring Single Sign On (SSO) in Consensus. It provides details regarding how to enter information generated in your Consensus portal into the Okta portal.
Okta Setup
Sign into your Okta portal:
Applications
Once logged in, on the main dashboard there is a menu on the left side. Under the Applications heading, click Applications:
Click Create App Integration:
In the modal titled Create a new app integration, select SAML 2.0 and click Next:

Okta requires the app have a recognizable name for end users.
General Settings
Enter a name that makes sense for you and your organization to reference your Consensus instance.
Once an App name has been entered, click Next:
Configure SAML
Enter the values copied from Consensus into SAML Settings:

Once complete, click Next to continue.

Select I’m an Okta customer adding an internal app and click Finish to finish the setup:
Copy Metadata URL
Click on the newly created Okta app:
Click Sign-On.
Copy the Metadata URL and paste it into Consensus to complete the Identity Provider setup.
