Why did my consent.studio cookie banner disappear?
Most likely causes
The two most likely scenarios for a banner that was properly installed and active earlier are the following:
There is a billing issue which needs to be resolved, such as:
Your trial has ended;
A payment has failed and the following grace period has passed
The domain name of the site that is registered with consent.studio does not match the site from which the banner is being called
Check for and solve possible billing issues
Log in to your consent.studio account.
If you only manage one site and you are being redirected to your domains overview and an exclamation mark is displayed next to your domain name, there is a billing issue.
If the billing issue is with regard to a domain under your management, use the menu in the top left corner to go to My Sites.
If there is a billing issue, click Solve issues. If your trial has ended, click Pick a plan.
After having solved the billing issues or having picked a plan, your cookie banner should re-activate automatically within minutes.
Check whether the domains of your sites match
The domain that is registered with consent.studio must match the production domain of your site. You can manage these settings under My Website in the navigation column on the left hand side.
The sub domain www. is already included within your plan. You do not need to register an additional domain prefixed with www.
. Also, make sure that there is no www.
in front of your domain name either.
