Which courses provide CMCI Renewal points?

Any training, courses, webinars, conference sessions, etc. related to the construction industry or can be applied towards your CM career can count towards CMCI Renewal Points at a rate of 1 point per hour of content. Points can also be earned in other ways including membership in industry-related organizations, continued employment as a CM, writing articles, teaching, volunteering, etc.

Download the Renewal Handbook for a full list of acceptable activities.

How are Renewal points tracked?

All education credits obtained via CMAA Courses is tracked in the Learning Management System you will access to complete the courses, and to complete your renewal application. The renewal application will automatically pull course credits for anything completed in the CMAA System.

Credits are also reported to RCEP and AIA, as needed.

Can I add credits earned outside of CMAA?

Yes, you can add credits from external training to your Learning Center by using the “Add External Training” button. Once you fill out the form with the event information and number of credits, it will be added under your “Completed” tab and you will be able to add the credits to your CACM or CCM renewal application. However, you will not be able to receive a CMAA certificate for external training.
