Before beginning the process, CMCI strongly recommends you first watch the video below to determine whether the CACM is appropriate for you and if you are on track to become eligible:
If you have determined the CACM is right for you, applicants are required to read the Application Handbook.
Log into your CMAA Account, your username is your email address.

If you do not have an account, click here to sign up or select the Sign Up option from the log in page.
From the My Info page, in top navigation bar, select Certification > Certified Associate Construction Manager > Application
If this is your first time accessing your application, be sure to click ‘Allow’ when prompted by the system
Click Go to Certification Center
Click Apply
Complete all required steps and pages of the application.
If needed, you can save your progress and come back to the application later.
Once all steps are complete, select your payment method
Click Submit & Pay for Application
If you’ve selected Credit Card, you’ll be directed to the CMAA Store where you should see the item “CACM Application”.
Click Add to Order, then proceed to the shopping cart to check out and pay with Credit Card or ACH/eCheck.
