How to apply to become a Certified Construction Manager® (CCM®) Before beginning the process, CMCI strongly recommends you first watch the short video below to determine whether the CCM is appropriate for you and if you are on track to become eligible: If you have determined the CCM is right for you, applicants are required to read the Application Handbook to learn about how to achieve the CCM. Once you have determined eligibility, please use the steps below to submit your application:
Starting from the CMAA Website www.cmaanet.org , click LOG IN
2. Enter your username (email) and password, then click Log in

If you do not have an account, click here to sign up or select the Sign Up option from the log in page.
3. Click MY ACCOUNT to navigate to the member portal
4. From the My Info page, in top navigation bar, select Certification > Certified Construction Manager > Application
If this is your first time accessing your application, be sure to click ‘Allow’ when prompted by the system
5. Click Go to Certification Center
6. Click Apply
7. Complete all required steps of the Application
If needed, you can save your progress and come back to the application later.
8. Once all steps are complete, select your payment method
9. Click Submit & Pay for Application. If you’ve selected Credit Card, you’ll be directed to the CMAA Store where you should see the item “CACM Application”.
10. Click Add to Order, then proceed to the shopping cart to check out and pay with Credit Card or ACH/eCheck.
Updating Your Address in Your CMAA Profile
If you move or your permanent address changes, you can update your address details easily in your CMAA profile. Keeping your profile updated ensures you receive all relevant communications and certifications.
Steps to Update Your Address:
To update your local chapter membership, follow these simple steps:
Log in to Your CMAA Account: Visit the CMAA login page and use your credentials to access your account.
Navigate to the Address Book: Locate the menu on the left-hand side after logging in and click on Address Book.
Update Your Default Address: Edit your default address in the Address Book section and save the changes. This ensures your local chapter assignment remains accurate.
