PourMyBev: Set up PourMyBev Integration

Give customers the power to self-pour with the PourMyBev integration.

Introduction

Integrate with PourMyBev to allow players to self-pour beverages at your facility. Once connected, players can scan their PourMyBev QR code to activate the tap, automatically adding beverage charges to their account.

Prerequisites

Before setting up the PourMyBev integration, ensure the following requirements are met:

  • Sales Request Form: To get started with PourMyBev, CLICK HERE to complete our Sales Request Form. After submission, a request will be sent to PourMyBev, and their sales team will contact you.

  • Dashboard Compatibility: Your organization must be using the Modern Dashboard to use this integration.

  • Revenue Category: If you like to track PourMyBev revenue separately, create a new Revenue Category

GoTab Compatibility: Organizations cannot use both the GoTab and PourMyBev integrations simultaneously. If your organization is already using the GoTab integration, PourMyBev transactions will be processed through GoTab.

Required Disclosure

Please reach out to the CourtReserve Support team to obtain the liability waiver you will be required to review and sign in order to enable PourMyBev for your organization.

Integration costs depend on your subscription plan:

  • Grow: $25/month

  • Scale: Included

  • Enterprise: Included

Note: This integration is not available for organizations on the Start plan or for those that have not transitioned to the new pricing model (introduced on June 1, 2024).

Clubs are responsible for the CourtReserve integration’s monthly fee, along with any additional fees charged by PourMyBev.


Setting Up the PourMyBev Integration

  1. Navigate to Settings on the sidebar.

  2. Scroll down to Additional Features.

  3. Locate the PourMyBev Integration feature, enable it, and click Setup.

  1. Copy your PourMyBev Username and Password.

  2. Send your Username and Password credentials to PourMyBev support (support@pourmybev.com).

On the Setup Page, admins can configure the following settings:

  • Require Payment Profile: If enabled, members must have a payment profile on file to charge purchases through PourMyBev.

  • Restrict Suspended/Inactive Members: Prevents members with suspended or inactive accounts (e.g., no active membership, expired, or canceled) from making purchases through PourMyBev.

  • Revenue Category: Assign a revenue category for PourMyBev beverage purchases to streamline charge tracking.

  • Tax Rate: Set a tax rate for PourMyBev beverage transactions.

  • Show PourMyBev Row: Determine which players can see the PourMyBev section on their mobile app home page. The section below (Player Restrictions for PourMyBev Usage) provides details on the available options for this setting.

  • Age Verification Type: Choose between two age verification options:

    1. Daily Verification: System admins must verify a player's age each day before they can self-pour alcoholic beverages, with verification resetting at midnight.

    2. One Time Verification: System admins must verify a player's age once. After verification, the player will be able to self-pour alcoholic beverages moving forward without needing daily re-verification.

Player Restrictions for PourMyBev Usage

Admins can control player access to PourMyBev’s self-pour stations through the Show PourMyBev Row setting, as well as additional restrictions under the Details tab on a player's account. These settings allow for customized access based on specific player criteria.

Additionally, admins must verify players’ ages to enable the pouring of alcoholic beverages. Below is a breakdown of the settings that determine visibility of PourMyBev pages and any applicable restrictions.

Show PourMyBev Row

This setting controls which players can see the PourMyBev row on their mobile app Home Page:

  • All: All players will see the PourMyBev row.

  • Based on Date of Birth: Only players 21 and older will see the PourMyBev row.

  • Based on Membership: Admins can use the Show to Following Membership(s) option to limit visibility to specific membership types.

  • Hide Row: The PourMyBev row will be hidden for all players.

Member's Account: Details Tab

Admins can apply further restrictions under the Details tab on a player's account. Below is an explanation of how these restrictions work:

  • Age Verification for Alcoholic Beverages (PourMyBev) – Enable this setting once an admin has verified a player's Date of Birth and confirmed they are 21 or older.

Important: If an organization is using the Daily Verification age verification type, this setting is valid only for the remainder of the day. Players must have their age re-verified daily if they wish to pour alcoholic beverages.

For organizations using One Time Verification, this setting will remain checked after it is enabled and saved for the first time.

  • Prevent Player from Pouring Alcoholic Beverages (PourMyBev): When enabled, the player will be restricted to non-alcoholic beverages only. This setting disables the Age Verification for Alcoholic Beverages option for this player.

  • Prevent Player from Pouring Any Beverages (PourMyBev): When enabled, the player will be restricted from pouring any beverages. The PourMyBev row will be hidden from their home page.

  • Player Set as "Child" Family Role: If a player is assigned the Child role in their family account, the PourMyBev row will be hidden from their home page.

If a player over 21 is restricted from pouring alcoholic beverages or has not yet verified their age, they will still see the PourMyBev row on their home page. However, they will only be able to pour non-alcoholic beverages until their age is verified.

They will see a notice informing them of the restriction. If a player is completely restricted from pouring any beverages, the PourMyBev row will be hidden from their home page.

User's Perspective - Mobile App

On the Modern Dashboard and Simple Dashboard home pages, players will see a PourMyBev row. To initiate a pour, they can click "Scan to Pour" to view and use their QR code.

If a player's age has not been verified, a notice will appear above their QR code, instructing them to see a staff member for more information (left screenshot). Similarly, if a player is restricted from pouring alcoholic beverages, they will see a notice with different messaging reflecting this restriction.

Once a player has one or more beverage fees on their account or their family's account, the PourMyBev row on their home page will display an additional "Pay Tab" button. Clicking this button allows players to view all unpaid beverage fees on their account. When ready to pay, they can select "Pay Tab" to proceed to the payment screen.
