Navigate to Settings on the sidebar.
Scroll to the bottom row under Additional Features (Add-Ons).
Locate the Save My Play Integration feature, enable it, and click Setup.
Next, locate your API Key in Save My Play.
Navigate to Facilities > Edit in your Save My Play portal.
Scroll to the bottom field on the edit page to find your API Key.
Copy the key and paste it into the "Save My Play API Key" field in CourtReserve.
Save My Play Integration Setup Page
After adding your API Key to CourtReserve, click Discovery to sync courts from Save My Play into CourtReserve. Once the courts have been synced, select Edit for each Save My Play court that should be eligible for recording. In the edit screen, map each CourtReserve court to its corresponding court in Save My Play.
After at least one CourtReserve court is mapped to a Save My Play court, admins can enable the Eligible to Opt-In for Recording on Portal/App. This allows players to access Save My Play through their mobile app.
Once enabled, organizations can set a Recording Cost and determine whether a Tax Rate and Revenue Category should be applied to recording fees. Additionally, they can define Recording Restrictions to control when and where players can start recordings.
Recording Restrictions - Choose between three options:
No Restrictions: Players can start a recording on any court(s) at any time.
Booked Courts Only: Players can only start a recording on their booked court(s), beginning two hours before their booking or registration.
Booked Courts Only, After Check-In: Players can only start a recording on their booked court(s) after checking in at the club or facility.
After clicking Save on this page, players will be able to start recording from their mobile app.
Save My Play Player Refunds
Important: Save My Play refunds are not part of the auto-refund or pending refund processing in CourtReserve. If a player requests a refund for their Save My Play transaction, it must be processed directly from the player’s Transactions page.
Select your Player/Member.
Navigate to Billing > Transactions > All Transactions.
The Save My Play transactions will have a Transaction Type of Misc. Fee and be listed as Save My Play Recording.
Locate the transaction to be refunded and click the Refund Payment icon on the far right of the transaction row.
The Refund screen will open—proceed with your preferred refund method as usual and Save.
User's Perspective - Mobile App
On the Modern Dashboard home page, players will find a Save My Play row located below My Bookings. To begin, they can tap "Record My Session."
Players will start on the Start Recording tab, where they will select:
Court(s): The court(s) they want to record.
Duration: The length of the recording—players can choose 1, 2, or 3 hours.
Recording Type: Either Condensed or Full recording.
Condensed: Uses AI to remove dead time between points.
Full: Provides an unedited recording of the entire session.
After a player fills in the required fields and clicks Confirm, their recording will begin. A card will appear, displaying the time remaining for each court's recording. If the player needs to manually end the recording, they can tap the Stop icon.
If a player manually ends their recording, the fee amount will be based on the recording’s duration, rounded to the closest hour. If the recording is less than 1 hour, the player will be charged for 1 hour.
If the player wants to start recording on additional courts, they can tap Start Another Recording. This page will mirror the Start Recording page, but only courts not currently being recorded on their account will be available for selection.
After a player has ended their recording(s), they can manage them on the My Recording(s) tab. Once a recording has been processed, a thumbnail preview of the video will appear (left screenshot). If the recording is still being processed, a placeholder thumbnail will be displayed instead (right screenshot).
Players will also receive an email notification from Save My Play once their recording has been successfully processed.
Audit Log
Players' recordings will be tracked in the audit log under the Recording entity type. From the audit log, system users can view all recordings that were started and any recordings that were manually ended.
