INTRODUCTION
Feature Summary: The Mass Update Events feature allows admins to quickly apply changes to multiple events at once. It reduces manual work by enabling bulk updates to event settings, including membership rules, pricing, guests, registration options, and visibility.
Use Cases:
Membership Updates: Adjust membership rules for multiple events in one step.
Bulk Pricing Changes: Modify pricing across events efficiently.
Visibility Adjustments: Enable or disable public visibility for selected events.
Registration Standardization: Ensure uniform registration settings across multiple events.
Allow Guest Updates: Adjust events to allow, or not allow, guests.
Guest Price: Modify guest pricing across events efficiently.
Number of Guests Allowed: Add or updated how many guests are allowed per event and/or per member.
Error Fixes: Quickly correct inconsistencies in event setups.
PREREQUISITES
Organizations must have more than one event created.
This feature is only available for Organization Admins. Sub-Admins cannot access this feature.
Note: Additional Action Types are currently in development to further expand this feature’s capabilities. At this time, the supported action types include bulk updating fields from the Event Setup and Guest Setup tabs. Access detailed articles here.
What Can Be Updated with Mass Update for Events?
To get a better idea of what information can be updated in bulk, use the Event List or Event Calendar to open any event. Click General Info and scroll to the bottom of the page to view the row of setup tabs.
The fields under the Event Setup and Guest Setup tabs are the ones that can be updated in bulk using CourtReserve’s Mass Update Events feature.

More Real-Life Examples of When to Use Mass Update for Events:
You’ve added a new membership type and need to apply specific pricing and guest policies for that group across all applicable events.
You’ve decided to allow drop-ins for your event and want to set a drop-in price.
You were previously allowing four guests per event, but found it was too many—now you need to reduce the guest limit.
You realized your event registration cutoff is too close to the event date, so you want to move the registration end date earlier for upcoming events.
