The Ingenico 5000 Cloud is a countertop point-of-sale (POS) device tailored for environments with high transaction volumes. It connects via Ethernet, ensuring reliable and fast transaction processing. It supports a broad array of payment methods including contactless, chip, swipe, and keyed-in transactions—all within a single unit.
From a security standpoint, the 5000 Cloud is equipped with enhanced cryptographic protections, boasting PCI-PTS 5.x and 6.x certifications, which means it adheres to modern security standards. This terminal is particularly well-suited for clubs using a central payment station where mobility isn't a requirement but performance and transaction handling speed are critical.
SETUP
Use this guide to set up your Ingenico Lane 5000 payment device for use with CourtReserve and SafeSave Payment Services.
Included Cables
Your device includes two sets of cables:
Power Cable – Plugs into a standard wall outlet.
Main Connection Cable – Connects to the bottom of the device and splits into:
An Ethernet connector (for wired internet connection)
A Power input (where the power cable connects)
Initial Power-Up
Connect the main connection cable to the bottom of the device.
Plug in the Ethernet cable:
Either to the Ethernet connector from the splitter, or
Directly into the Ethernet port on the side of the device (depending on router location).
Plug the power cable into the splitter, then into a power outlet.
The device should boot up automatically.
Once booted:
If the screen says "Disconnected", proceed to the next steps.
If the screen shows a series of numbers with "Unregistered" and a code beneath it, your setup is complete—no further action is needed. This is the code to enter in CourtReserve
Accessing Device Settings
If needed:
On the "Disconnected" screen, enter:
0001
This opens the Settings menu.
Ethernet Setup
Go to Communication Type, then press the green circle.
Use the arrows to select Ethernet, then press the green circle again to confirm.
If prompted to reboot, select Yes.
After reboot, the screen should display:
A series of numbers with "Unregistered" below and a code underneath – this is the code to enter in CourtReserve
Configuring the Terminal to CourtReserve
In CourtReserve, navigate to SETTINGS > go to the BILLINGS SETTINGS row > click the Integrated Payments icon.
Scroll down to the Terminals sections and click Add Terminal.
Fill out the Name (what you want the device to be called) and Code (this is the 6 digit code displayed on the card reader) fields. Click Save.
