INTRODUCTION
As an admin, it’s helpful to understand the steps players follow when creating a CourtReserve account. Below is a step-by-step guide to the signup experience.
Step 1: Access the Sign-Up Page & Email Entry
Players begin by visiting your club's CourtReserve member portal or mobile app. They will be presented with a screen prompting them to enter their email address to find or create an account.

Step 2: Email Entry & Account Lookup
After a player enters their email address, CourtReserve checks if it’s already linked to an existing account—either within your organization or anywhere in the CourtReserve network.
If an account is found, the player can log in one of two ways
Using their password or
Choose to receive a verification code via email.
If the email is not found, the player will be prompted to create a new account.

Step 3: Verification Code (For Code-Based Login)
If using the code login method, the player will receive a 6-digit code sent to their email which they need to enter into CourtReserve to proceed.

The player must enter this code within 15 minutes to proceed, otherwise they will need to re-start the login process.
Step 4: Create a Password (if Applicable)
If a password needs to be set (first-time login or after password reset), the player will be prompted to create a new password that is 8–40 characters long.
Step 5: New Player - Complete Sign-Up Form
After creating a log in, new players to your club will be prompted to complete a Sign-Up Form.
This includes fields such as:
Name (required)
Email (required and pre-filled)
Any additional fields your club has customized on the Sign-Up Form. These may include personal details, custom fields, waivers or disclosures, and any required or optional membership or payment profile information.

If your club has waivers enabled and required, the player will be prompted to complete and sign the waiver before creating their account:
After completing all required information, the player will click Create Account to finalize.
Additional Notes:
If players are having trouble signing in, they can use the “Forgot Password” or “Request a Code” options.
Branding, like logos, can be added to personalize the signup experience.
