INTRODUCTION

Feature Summary: Track and review platform changes over time to improve transparency and accountability. You can also review all notifications sent within the platform.

Use Cases: Running a successful club requires close attention to details — especially around bookings, registrations, and other key activities. The Audit Log allows system users to:

  • View changes made in the platform, including who made them and when.

  • Monitor and verify updates to bookings, registrations, and more.

  • Track email notifications sent by the system.

PREREQUISITES

By default, all admin users have access to the Audit Log. Sub-admins can view it only if they are granted the appropriate permission.

SETUP REQUIREMENTS

To view the audit log, click AUDITS > AUDIT LOG on the side menu.

Filtering the Results

The first step is to create filters at the top of the Audit Log page.

  • Action Type – Select the type of action that occurred in the system (e.g., Cancel, Create, Edit). The default setting is ALL.

  • Entity Type – Select the category of information to display in the log (e.g., Closures, Events, Reservations). The default setting is ALL.

  • Action Start and End Dates – Use the calendar icons or the dropdown menu to define the date range for actions.

  • Reservation Start and End Dates – Use the calendar icons or or the dropdown menu to define the date range for reservations.

  • Show Actions Created By Admins/Sub-Admins – When checked, the log displays platform events created by admins or sub-admins. Enabling this option also reveals the Filter By Admins/Sub-Admins field (see below).

  • Filter By Admins/Sub-Admins – Available only when the above option is checked. Use this field to filter the log by one or more admin or sub-admin names from the drop-down menu. The default setting is ALL. This field is hidden if Show Actions Created By Admins/Sub-Admins is not checked.

  • Show Actions Created By Members – When checked, the log displays platform events created by members/players through the member portal.

Using Table Tools

The audit log table has seven columns. Use two table tools to modify the display order and content of the log.

  • Alphabetical order - Click the space next to a column label (e.g. Action Type). Click the blue arrow to switch the display order of information from ascending to descending.

  • Conditions - Click the filter icon and use the panel to create filter logic with and/or conditions.

  • Search - Enter a term into the Search field to scan the information in the filtered table.

  • Export data - To download a file with the filtered data, click the Export to Excel button to download an .xlsx file or the Export to Pdf button.

Reviewing Notifications

To view the Notification History page, click AUDITS > NOTIFICATIONS on the side menu.

Filtering the Results

To narrow the range of results on the page, click the Filter button. On the new panel, scroll down the list of filters and click an arrow to expand the folder. Fill in the fields. Click Apply or Save Filter.

Optionally, use the search bar to find a specific item.

Or, use the column tools to change the sort order or apply filter logic.

Finally, click the Details button to see a copy of an email notification sent to a member/player. The Notification page shows the message body plus the subject line and the recipient's email address.
