INTRODUCTION

  • Feature Summary: If a membership's price needs to be updated, system users have the option to updating the membership fee amount for members that already are assigned this membership.

  • Use Cases: If an organization needs to update their membership's pricing for the next year, system users can Update Existing Memberships' pricing. This way, members do not need to be re-assigned a new membership in order to be charged this new pricing.

SETUP REQUIREMENTS

  1. Log in to the admin dashboard.

  2. Go to the side menu and click MEMBERSHIPS. A new page displays.

  3. Click the Individual or Family tab.

  4. Select a membership type.

  5. Click the Membership Price tab.

Once a membership's price has been edited, an Update Existing Membership checkbox will appear. This setting only appears in the case where a previous price was saved for this membership, and a new price is added.

If Update Existing Memberships is unchecked, only future members will be charged this membership price. If this setting is checked, all members currently under this membership will have their membership price updated to the new pricing.

Please note that in the case where current member's memberships are updated, this will not update membership fees that are already posted on the member's account. This setting will only update future membership fees that have not been posted yet.
