Unfortunately, members have been known to abuse the system and add non-family members to their family memberships at their club.
What to do if this happens?
Delete the non-family member(s) from their account
Change the system settings to prevent this in the future (see steps below)
To stop users from adding themselves onto family memberships, you'll go to PORTAL SETTINGS > NAVIGATION:
From here, you'll scroll down and select this box:
NOTE:
If you want the feature turned off completely, you can click the box for 'ALL'
If you only want the feature turned off for family memberships / family users, just check the box under 'Family Memberships'
You can also disable people's ability to cancel their memberships.
If you go to Memberships > Edit Membership Type:
From here, go to the PORTAL SETTINGS tab and check this box.
